Please, Stop Your Rhymes (Poem)

First – and foremost – you wanted me,
Now that it’s no more, wasted I will be
Today I’m reading your rhymes
That echo like graveyard chimes
It’s unbearable to think that I had almost
But alas, once again I’ve lost
For almost, surely, doesn’t count
Troubled spirit I am, under enormous haunt
