Flowers Do Speak

A garden without flowers is incomplete. Really, what value can a garden be if it lacks the multi-colours and a blend of scents that flowers produce? A garden blessed with the splendour of flowers is always in conversation with you, as flowers, for sure, do speak. One doesn’t have to be a botanist or erudite on floriography to understand this language. Sometimes understanding them is not important, all you need is to hear them whispering, chatting and sometimes singing. It’s like eavesdropping a conversation in a foreign vernacular that you cannot comprehend, yet the saccharine beauty of the language keeps you listening.

Take a slow walk through your garden and see that red rose smiling, radiating true love while a white one blushes in its innocence, wishing you eternity. A poppy sticks out its head, promising wealth and success. A bellflower, so touchingly, will pour its heart out to you, telling you it’s been thinking of you.

In a cheerful garden of flowers, there is no room for depression. Eyes need to see these delicate plants, nose needs to smell their pungent perfumes and good mood and health will be bestirred. There’s no language as direct and true as the universal language of flowers. During the Victorian era, flowers played a critical role in societies. Today, flowers surround us in various forms, shapes and colours. Artists in their different kinds have taken them to another level of communication. So, love your flowers and they will love you back - truthfully.
